Piglet in Bed x Morris & Co.
About The Collection
Introducing our delightfully timeless collaboration with heritage design legend, Morris & Co., founded by William Morris in 1861. This whimsical collection features a selection of sleepwear and accessories in patterns carefully handpicked from Morris & Co.'s illustrious archive. The result is a harmonious fusion of classic elegance with contemporary, relaxed sophistication, as we reimagine iconic patterns and traditional sleepwear styles through our own unique and enchanting lens.
Middlemore
Bringing characterful charm to all creatures great and small, the whimsical Middlemore pattern by May Morris, daughter of William Morris, is inspired by the characters on a quilt embroidered by May in 1889. It's a whimsical pattern featuring a fantastical scene of finely drawn animals and insects. The cuffs and trims of the new Morris & Co. sleepwear feature Willow Boughs, an iconic William Morris pattern first produced in 1887.

Honeysuckle
Made in Portugal from soft and breathable European linen, the collection also includes patterned linen scrunchies and sleep masks that are made from offcuts from our Morris & Co. collection, since beautiful fabrics are too good to waste.
Climbing stems and clusters of elegant blooms create the classic Morris & Co. Honeysuckle motif, designed by May Morris in 1883.

May Morris, 1862-1938
Feminist, socialist, and versatile designer, May Morris was one of the brightest lights of the Arts & Crafts movement. Promoted to the head of the embroidery department at Morris & Co. at the age of just 23, May oversaw important commissions for altar cloths, fire screens and bedcovers. Across all her embroidery, May drew from medieval free-hand techniques for needlework. Besides embroidery, May contributed an impressive raft of now-iconic Morris & Co. fabric and wallpaper designs, many of which have been frequently misattributed to her father, William.
